B4VK's Sally Beard wins the Australian Knight awards for 2020
Every Australia Day, staff at The Knight, - an organisation representing Owner Corporations Managers, recognise a worthy recipient for their Australian Knight award; someone who has demonstrated qualities that personify those of a Knight, including bravery, selflessness and leadership.
This year's winner was none other than B4VK founder Sally Beard, who receives a generous $10,000 donation to B4VK from The Knight - that sure is a lot of backpacks!
Nova100 Community Chest Winners
Backpacks 4 VIC Kids were the WINNERS of Nova100's Browny's Community Chest for June 2017.
Browny, Sam and Chrissie announced B4VK the charity to win $10,000.
We are so grateful to the Community branches of Bendigo Bank, especially Carrum Downs and Marriott Waters branches, who generously contributed to Browny's Community Chest.
That will be another 200 (or more) children receiving filled backpacks. Huge thanks to all involved.
Together we are making a difference.
