ME Packs and ME Jnr Packs
ME stands for My Essentials. Our ME Packs help by providing quality backpacks and nappy bags to displaced babies, children and youth (clothing sizes 0000 – youth 18), in Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania. Children may be homeless, entering out-of-home care or emergency accommodation.
Backpacks and nappy bags contain size and gender appropriate contents including essential items such as toiletries, clothing, sleepwear, a torch, blanket and a toy or activity which will belong to the child and will stay with them should they be relocated.
School Essentials Packs
Basic school supplies are essential to ensuring engagement in education, and a feeling of equality. This little bit of support can make a world of difference.
B4VK’s School Essentials Packs provide stationery packs and back to school items such as lunchboxes, drink bottles and combination padlocks to students in out-of-home care. These packs can be tailored to suit the individual child’s needs.
Christmas 4 Kids in Care Santa Packs
B4VK’s Christmas 4 Kids in Care Santa Packs give joy to children in out-of-home care and support the people who care for them.
Our Santa Packs contain age-appropriate gifts including books, soft toys, activity-based gifts and stillness-based gifts along with stocking stuffers of extra love, all delivered in lovingly handmade Santa sacks.
Youth Outreach Packs
Essentials for young people sleeping rough, on the streets or couch surfing and needing a hand with a change of clothes, underwear, warm socks and beanie, notepad and pen, toiletries and wipes to support good hygiene, restore dignity and support social inclusion. Youth Outreach Packs are distributed by organisations providing street outreach services.
YO Packs are packed in a lightweight tote or duffel bag and are available in adult sizes Medium – Extra Extra Large for males and 10 – 20 for females.
Disaster Relief Packs
Similar to ME Packs but customised to meet the needs identified by workers supporting people displaced by disaster. B4VK is proud of our readiness to respond quickly and efficiently in bulk and in times of urgent need.
