THANK YOU
With your help we have delivered over 10,000 ME Packs to children since April 2015, saving agencies and carers, time and money. Well done! Thanks, we couldn't have done it with out your help. Together we are making a difference.
"I have just had the back packs delivered, thank you, they look amazing, what a fantastic program this is. The majority of placements we receive, the children arrive with the clothes they are wearing, this will be such a help."
"Such a thoughtful idea and I really appreciate others thinking of carers and kids."
Carer, UnitingCare Gippsland.

"One 13 year old was thrilled with her backpack, “I love this outfit” – it was a onesie/happy pants outfit, she also thought the toiletries pack “will come in handy for camp”.
Another 7 year old loved the pinafore that was in her pack, “I will look so cute in this”, also happy to have a backpack to use.
Both these girls were so happy to have something for themselves and felt rather special to be getting a gift for no reason. The 7 year old particularly given its not Christmas or her birthday. They spent ages unpacking and going through it all."
"On behalf of LWB, I would like to thank you for providing us with nappy bags and backpacks for the children and young people accessing foster care. I am so happy to be the first recipient of these bags. I am sure these bags will be such a great asset to the carers and provide a real comfort to the children who receive them.
Thanks again for your vision and hard work."

I recently gave out three back packs for brothers who are 4,5 and 7, two of whom recently moved to the carers from another foster placement. The carer fed back that the boys were ‘over the moon’ about what they received. The family had gone to Bruny Island the weekend they got them. This came in so handy, as it was cold and there were lots of clothes (warm) that came in very useful.
The socks and pyjamas were great too. The eldest boy loved the ‘Bart Simpson’ pyjamas as this is his favourite. The carer also found the colouring pencils and paper great to keep the children entertained for some of the time.
"The carers were really thrilled about all the special things you managed to get inside the packs and the children who received the packs also seemed very happy. The workers who handed out the packs gave me feedback on the spot, saying how amazing they were. Please keep up the good work."
