Giving Day
Children, their safety and wellbeing, are at the heart of everything we do.
To ensure longevity of our programs and to raise awareness about children at risk of abuse or neglect, or experiencing the trauma of displacement, we launched B4VK Annual Giving Day in June 2021.
With the incredible support of our community, we were able to provide material aid to over 9,372 children in 2023.
The need to support children in crisis and out of home care will never go away. In fact, the latest research highlights that *27,500 children in Victoria could enter the OOHC system by 2026 as a result of the pandemic. *https://thesector.com.au
This year we aim to support more than 11,250 local kids displaced, in emergency accommodation or in an out of home care placement.
