B4VK provides crisis packs and gift packs to children aged from birth to seventeen who are entering out of home care, including foster care, kinship care, permanent care, residential care, respite and emergency care.

My Essentials (ME) Packs

My Essentials (ME) Packs are our core program and include a backpack or baby care bag and are created in sizes 0000 to 18.

School Essentials (SE) Packs

School Essentials (SE) Packs are available to order all year round and can be customised to meet the individual child’s needs.  The include a backpack or library bag and are produced in ages 4 – 17.

Requests for backpacks and nappy bags can be made by social workers, Victoria police, and workers at the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing. To submit a request complete form below.

    Supply request forms for foster care agencies must be made by completing the form below.

      Kinship/Foster care and agency details

      Please include below in the text field below:

      - Organisation name and location (just the town),

      - Program name

      - Case worker/contact's name and phone or email.

      Please indicate any specific items that you may require (e.g. lunchboxes, combination locks, school stationery) and the ages and genders of children receiving the packs. Please note we are unable to supply any electronic devices at this time. A member of B4VK will call/email to confirm your requirements.


      Please note, that the School Essentials Pack may contain sharps such as scissors, sharpeners and compasses. B4VK expects workers and carers to carefully inspect each School Essentials Pack for its suitability based on their knowledge of the intended recipient. Carers are responsible for the safety of the children in their care. This initiative will only be offered to carers in Victoria at this stage. By clicking submit, you agree to these terms.
