We believe in showcasing the spirit and generosity of Australians, particularly Melbournians, to the world. By attempting this world record, we will unite our community in a unique and exciting way whilst raising awareness about Backpacks 4 Vic Kids and the increasing need for material aid to support babies, children, and youth. This is our innovative way of raising the donations of backpacks and the items we include in them so that we can respond to all requests for help.

Event Details:
- Event Name: Backpacks 4 Vic Kids World Record Challenge
- Wednesday 6th November 2024
- Open to the public from 9am
- Bump in from 7:30am, bump out by 3pm
- Melbourne Showgrounds – Exhibition Pavillion Building 1
World Record Attempt:
The primary focus of the event is to break the current Guinness World Record of 3,892 backpacks and duffle bags in a row, held by DLP Realty in Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA, however, by having thousands of backpacks contributed we’ll be better able to respond to all requests for support this year. Win win!
Community Engagement:
The event will feature family-friendly activities to attract patrons, food vans, event sponsors, B4VK supporter stands, and opportunities for community involvement. Supporters, Sponsors, Clubs, for-cause organisations and businesses will all be encouraged to participate and be part of making history together.
